"Man On A Ledge" Movie Review

How many of us have enjoyed a good TV Drama now and then?  You expect a lot of action and character. So now here is a movie of a convicted ex cop trying to prove his innocence by standing on the ledge of the roosevelt hotel in New York. The movie is called "Man On A Ledge" and features Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, and Jamie Bell. Let's start with the good things. You have the suspense you get in a good TV drama, along with your cop characters and long shots. You get that pretty decent background on what happened to the main character. And you have that high energy techno music you hear in current show like Hawaii 5-0 or NCIS. The bad thing with this movie is that it feels like a TV show. If I wanted something like this, I would have just stayed home and put on a person of interest episode. It feels bland, you don't really connect with the characters or feel for them, plot is pretty much predictable, and that's what you get when you watch a TV Drama. Still, I enjoyed it for the most part, But I'd rather just put on a show or watch Netflix. Until the next time, this is the Orange Critic.
